Mia has been writing for years, starting out as Mia Maxam, author of five Silhouette Romance novels. She then turned to writing as a correspondent for Gannett’s Florida Today newspaper in Melbourne, Florida. She covered town council meetings, local news and civic events in Brevard County, Florida. Mia is now a full time writer of fiction.

Lone Wolf Lodge is accessible by float plane only. Completely surrounded by wilderness and mountains, the lodge is open to visitors only in the summer.
